FRANZ ISELLA is member of the Holding Company CASTI S.p.A. that is 100% controlled by the family of Gianfranco Castiglioni and rules the strategic and financial coordination for the whole group.

The first steps of the Group date at the beginning ot 60s through the “Castiglioni Giovanni S.p.A”, specialized in the production and sale of metal stampings, locks and accessories for leather items in general.

Around half 70s the Group acquired SIAC S.p.A., a Company working in the stampings field, which is now a leading Company in its business area, particularly in the production of custom designed metal products (stampings) for electrical and electronic equipment (Bosch, Texas Instruments and Siemens).

From 1978 the Group started its activity in motorcycles business, with the trademark Cagiva (the acronym of CAstiglioni GIovanni VArese), which has distinguished the Group till 1997.
